High Jewelry Trends

Finally, a sector of the Fashion Industry that is well overdue for receiving its flowers is gaining more traction on the Red Carpet in recent years; High-end Jewelry houses.
This has completely changed the game for stylists and designers alike, as jewelry is now looked at as the “main event” of an outfit. Focus has shifted from the floor length gown to the clean cut diamond jewelry sparkling brilliantly against the flashing lights of reporters.
The 2026 Oscars solidifies itself as stomping grounds for new jewelry trends that are on the rise. The gowns that many of these celebrities stepped onto the carpet in were incredibly intricate and elegant, but the jewelry worn was more eye-catching than anything. Priyanka Chopra-Jonas accompanied her Valentino gown with Bulgari’s new collection of high jewelry by wearing their new Serpenti Illusio High Jewelry Necklace. The lavish white gold, pavé-set diamonds masterpiece is bringing choker-style necklaces back to life. Over 130 emeralds are accentuated by an antique cushion-cut sapphire from Madagascar, serving as an elegant symbol melding vintage Hollywood glamour with a more modern looking arrangement. Chopra accented this classy choker with a matching set of diamond studs and a 14-carat emerald-shape diamond ring also from Bulgari’s newest collection.
This was not the only showstopping set of High Fine-Jewelry that was on display from Bulgari’s newest collection at the Oscars. Critically acclaimed actress Anne Hathaway showed up sporting a spectacular Bulgari Neoclassical Starlight Platinum High Jewelry necklace. The necklace is 8.02 carats and houses a pear-cut fancy vivid yellow diamond that is esteemed for its rarity in colour.

Each piece lends itself to create something fresh and new to the carpet. From pavé-set diamonds to gargantuan Sapphires from Madagascar, High Jewelry is all about class and elegant finishings. As creativity and new concepts continue to flourish in the coming years, there will only be more opportunity for innovative pieces of high jewelry to reignite the epidemic of celebrities not wearing necklaces on red carpets. It seems that high-end jewelry is taking high profile celebrities and turning them into models for their adornments, highlighting them, giving way and aiding in promotion for projects each celebrity is promoting. So, if you're not rocking' rocks' on the carpet, are you really there?
